Peter Jossi, President of Bionetz.ch and Chair of the HSU Committee Agrifood & Best Practices, has an extensive network and many years of contacts in the international organic food sector, particularly within Ukraine’s organic industry.
In a recent article, he reports on the presence of the Ukrainian organic sector at Biofach in Nuremberg, the world’s leading trade fair for organic food. Despite challenging circumstances, Ukraine’s organic sector demonstrates remarkable resilience and continues to develop its export and market potential.
The article also highlights important international cooperation and support programmes, including partnerships with the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL), the Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO), as well as initiatives such as the Global Quality and Standards Programme and the Ukrainian Berries Association.
